Bosnian, maybe even Herzegovinian, shelled out 310,797 BAM for a Bentley!

While most BiH residents are struggling to make ends meet, those with deeper pockets spare no expense on luxury four-wheelers, with one citizen shelling out as much as 310,797 BAM for a new Bentley, reports the Patria News Agency.

The average BiH citizen would need to work for 31 years to afford such a car, or set aside 375 average salaries, which amount to 828 BAM, assuming they saved their entire salary for the car.

The import duties alone paid on this vehicle are greater than the five-year earnings of an average worker in BiH.

According to data from the Indirect Taxation Authority (UIO) of BiH, the owner of the "Bentley Continental GT V8S" car paid 52,871 BAM in import duties.

The list of the five most expensive cars also includes another Bentley and three Mercedes. The second most expensive car is a Mercedes Benz S63 AMG Coupe, worth 293,704 BAM, on which duties of 49,955 BAM were paid, writes Glas Srpske.
