Borovac asks RS MoI to protect returnees in RS

Following increasingly frequent attacks on returnees to Republika Srpska, and especially on returnees in the Municipality of Prijedor, the Minister for Human Rights and Refugees, Semiha Borovac, sent an appeal to the local authorities in Republika Srpska and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, calling on them to protect returnees to Republika Srpska and enable them normal living and working conditions, reports the Patria News Agency.

Minister Borovac emphasized that it is necessary to take all measures to prevent the deterioration of the security situation in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, avoid inter-ethnic animosity, and enable peaceful and safe coexistence, according to the statement from the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
