(Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has, in a first-instance verdict, sentenced Boro Ivanović to 10 years in prison for multiple rapes in Foča committed as part of a widespread and systematic attack on the civilian Bosniak population from April to July 1992.
Ivanović was found guilty of committing crimes against humanity in the Foča area in his capacity as a member of the Army of Republika Srpska.
By court order, Ivanović's travel bans have been extended. The trial in this case began in February of last year. An appeal against this verdict can be filed with the Appellate Panel of the Court of BiH, writes Detektor.
