(Patria) - Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Borjana Krišto today began her participation in the 56th World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, which this year is held under the theme "The Spirit of Dialogue".
Today's Forum program is marked by discussions of world leaders on strengthening international cooperation in an increasingly complex geopolitical environment, new sources of economic growth, investing in people, responsible use of technology - especially artificial intelligence, and sustainable development and climate policies.
Important bilateral meetings with European and regional partners were held on the sidelines of the Forum. Krišto also participated in a discussion on the topic "Restoring the Spirit of Dialogue in a Divided World".
The focus of all discussions was placed on the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the stability of the region, and concrete steps needed to open accession negotiations with the European Union.
The address by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, also attracted special attention, in which the connection between global security, the economy, and the standard of living of citizens was further emphasized.
Bosnia and Herzegovina's participation in this year's Forum confirms the country's commitment to dialogue, cooperation, and the European perspective, as well as its readiness to be an active participant in discussions about the future of Europe and the world.
