Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto has appointed Goran Selak (Socialist Party of Srpska) as the Minister of Security of BiH.
A parliamentary procedure follows because this appointment, according to regulations, needs to be confirmed by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
The position of Minister of Security of BiH became vacant after the then-minister Nenad Nešić resigned in January of this year following his arrest at the end of December 2024 on suspicion of committing several criminal offenses.
