
(Patria) - The FBiH Government, at the proposal of the Federal Ministry for Affairs of Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Defense-Liberation War, at today's telephone session adopted the Decree on one-time financial aid to beneficiaries of rights from the field of veteran-disability protection.
The one-time financial aid amounts to 200 BAM.
The purpose of the Decree is to provide financial and material support in order to improve the material status of beneficiaries of rights from the field of veteran-disability protection, financed from the budget of the Federation of BiH, due to the increase in the price of the consumer basket.
Beneficiaries of personal and family disability pensions, monthly financial allowances based on recognition or decoration, and financial subsistence allowances, which are realized according to federal regulations and paid from the budget of the Federation of BiH, are entitled to this aid.
The one-time financial aid is paid to individuals who had recognized status as beneficiaries of these rights and received payments of allowances from the field of veteran-disability protection for August of this year.
It is stipulated that individuals who are beneficiaries of more than one of the aforementioned rights will receive the one-time financial aid only on one basis.
In the case of beneficiaries who are co-beneficiaries of family disability pensions and monthly financial allowances based on recognition or decoration, the amount of the one-time financial aid is divided into equal parts.
The total funds for the payment of this aid will be secured in the budget of the Federation of BiH, under the allocation of the Federal Ministry for Affairs of Veterans and Disabled Veterans of the Defense-Liberation War.
The proposer explained that for the implementation of this decree, funds in the amount of over 19 million BAM need to be secured, for the payment of one-time financial aid to more than 99,000 beneficiaries.
The Decree enters into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH.
Aid for 10,540 private employers
At the proposal of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, the Government of the Federation of BiH adopted a Decision establishing the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for July 2025 for private employers, crafts, and other independent activities in the Federation of BiH, with the aim of maintaining existing jobs this year.
The Decision also determined the amount of allocated funds, in accordance with the Decree on measures of financial aid to private employers, crafts, and other independent activities in the Federation of BiH with the aim of maintaining existing jobs for 2025.
An integral part of the final list is also the list of beneficiaries whose appeals against the Decision on establishing the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for June 2025 have been accepted.
The total funds for the realization of this decision, in the amount of 4,805,650 BAM, are secured in the budget of the Federation of BiH by the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts and are allocated to 10,540 beneficiaries.
A portion of the funds in the amount of 712,550 BAM is allocated to 984 beneficiaries whose appeals against the Decision on establishing the final list of beneficiaries of financial aid for June 2025 have been accepted.
The final list of beneficiaries of financial aid will be published on the websites of the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts.
The transfer of financial aid funds to the beneficiaries' transaction accounts will be carried out by Union Bank in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts based on this decision.
The Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Tax Administration of FBiH, and Union Bank are responsible for the implementation of this decision, each within their jurisdiction and obligations in accordance with the Decree.
As explained, the reason for adopting this decision is the implementation of the Decree, which aims at sustainability, preservation of existing jobs, and ensuring liquidity support for 2025 for private employers, crafts, and other independent activities.
