Veterans' associations of TK send a message to Konaković, Nikšić, and Forta not to come to Srebrenica

(Patria) - The Coordination of Veterans' Associations and Organizations of Tuzla Canton has issued a press release in which they strongly condemn the ruling coalition at the state level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which consists of: SDP, People and Justice, and Our Party.

The statement comes following a meeting in Konjic held on Friday, which was attended by the leaders of the Trojka (SDP, NS, NiP), as well as Dragan Čović (HDZ) and Milorad Dodik (SNSD).

According to Zukan Helez, the Minister of Defense of BiH, Dodik swore at the genocide during the meeting.

We are publishing the statement of the associations in its entirety:

"The Coordination of Veterans' Associations and Organizations of Tuzla Canton includes 20 veterans' associations: RVI, OPŠiPB, DB, Golden Lilies, from the territory of the so-called RS, and they belonged to the 28th Division of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We hereby wish to express our disappointment considering the brutal insults uttered at the meeting of the ruling coalition at the state level in Konjic by Milorad Dodik, to which the leaders of the SDP, NS, and NiP parties did not react.

We reject with disgust the thought of the aforementioned individuals being present at the commemoration of the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica and the burial of its victims at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Center.

In order to protect the achievements of the defense-liberation war, the dignity of the victims' families, as well as the peace and tranquility of the martyrs buried in the Potočari cemetery, we are sending a message to those who silently and with bowed heads listened to the shameless insults: YOU ARE NOT WELCOME", it is stated in the press release.
