Borac beats Željezničar with a highly dubious goal in stoppage time

(Patria) - Today in Banja Luka, the derby of the 14th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was played between Borac and Željezničar, and the match ended with a score of 3-2.

The visiting fans were banned by the RS MUP from attending the match, so Željezničar was deprived of the support of its fans in this extremely important game.

Already in the fifth minute of the match, former BiH national team player Zoran Kvržić gave the home team the lead with a goal, and shortly after, Lukić also scored.

However, Željezničar had an answer, so Sulejman Krpić reduced the score to 2-1 in the middle of the first half with a brilliant header. The teams went to halftime with a minimal home lead of 2-1.

In the second half, many mistakes were seen on both sides, and one such – the biggest, was made in the 67th minute when the Borac goalkeeper hit Sulejman Krpić with the ball, and it bounced back into the goal for 2-2. In stoppage time, Jokić scored for Borac for the final 3-2.

The situation was debatable; the visiting team called for a foul on the goalkeeper, but Njegomirović did not respond. The replay clearly indicated that a foul had been committed.

There were no further changes to the score until the end of the match.
