Bomberger: The Srebrenica genocide is irrefutably scientifically proven

(Patria) - Using scientific evidence, we have identified almost 90 percent, or close to 7,000 out of a total of 8,000 Muslim men and boys killed in a few days, which is irrefutable proof that the genocide happened, and we have presented this evidence in over 30 criminal cases before the courts in The Hague and in BiH.

This was stated today in Srebrenica by the Director-General of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), Kathryne Bomberger, at the "Conference on Collective Memory".

She stated that the ICMP has been working on finding and identifying missing persons since 1996, and when it comes to Srebrenica, DNA analysis was used to identify remains, which provided scientific proof that the genocide happened.

She emphasized that it is the obligation of the entire international community to commemorate and remember what happened in Srebrenica.
