Boko Haram kidnapped 185 girls and children

Members of the extremist Islamists Boko Haram in Nigeria kidnapped at least 185 people today, and according to information coming from the scene, it is mainly about kidnapped girls, women and children, reports the Patria News Agency.

The mass kidnapping was carried out in a village in the Nigerian federal unit of Borno, from where the hostages were taken by trucks towards the Sambisa forest, which is the stronghold of Boko Haram, Nigerian officials and villagers testified, reported by AFP agency.

According to the leader of the state of Borno, Usman Kakani, more than 190 people were kidnapped, and that the kidnapping of civilians is part of an attack that began on Sunday in the village of Gumsuri, where 32 people were killed. Details of the attack in Gumsuri were only revealed today, as the mobile phone network was down.
