
(Patria) - A slight but continuous drop in diesel prices has been recorded in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina market, ongoing since April 15 this year.
According to the latest data, the average retail price of diesel on April 22 was 0.02 KM per liter lower than the previous day. This brings the diesel price back to the level of April 8, confirming the trend of gradual market stabilization, it was announced on Wednesday from the Federal Ministry of Trade of FBiH.
On the other hand, the average retail price of premium unleaded gasoline 95 is 2.93 KM per liter and has not changed since April 17, maintaining a stable level compared to previous days.
The Federal Ministry of Trade continues to monitor the price movements of petroleum products daily through its systems and will continue to inform the public in a timely manner about all relevant market changes, the Ministry announced.
It is added that the slight drop in diesel prices is a positive signal in the context of market stabilization, with the continuation of activities aimed at consumer protection and maintaining market balance.
In the Federation of BiH, the Decision on prescribing immediate price control measures by determining the maximum margin for petroleum products is still in force, which prescribes a maximum margin of 0.06 KM per liter of derivative for economic entities engaged in wholesale trade, while for economic entities engaged in retail trade of petroleum products, a maximum margin of 0.25 KM per liter of derivative is prescribed.
