Flower laying and tribute at multiple locations in Sarajevo today

(Patria) - The celebration of Sarajevo Canton Day begins today and will last until May 9.

As part of the commemoration of the 34th anniversary of the Battle for the Defense of the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, flower laying will be organized at the following locations today:

‣ Kovači Cemetery (at 10:00 AM) - a special address, paying tribute and laying flowers to the Bosnian martyrs, and paying tribute and laying flowers to the first President of the Republic of BiH, Alija Izetbegović;

‣ Lav Cemetery (at 10:50 AM) - paying tribute and laying flowers;

‣ Stadion Cemetery (at 11:00 AM) - paying tribute and laying flowers;

‣ Central memorial to the martyrs and fallen soldiers of Novi Grad - in front of the Novi Grad Municipality building (at 11:20 AM) - paying tribute and laying flowers; and

‣ Vlakovo Cemetery - Alley of Veterans (at 11:45 AM) - paying tribute and laying flowers.
