Pearl of BiH Football Maja Jelčić Signs for Inter

(Patria) - One of the most talented young female footballers in Europe, Maja Jelčić (18), has left SFK 2000 Sarajevo and signed for the famous Inter.

The confirmation of the big transfer of the brilliant BiH footballer was confirmed by her former club SFK 2000 Sarajevo, who did not hide their pride.

- The eighteen-year-old forward, who wore the SFK 2000 Sarajevo jersey in recent years, has developed into a player who has attracted the attention of the European football public. She was included by UEFA at the end of 2022 on the list of the 10 most talented young female footballers in Europe.

Her move to Inter is a confirmation of the excellent work of the SFK 2000 Sarajevo collective in terms of developing young players and paving their way to the best European teams, as well as the immense talent and potential that Maja possesses, as evidenced by her 41 goals scored in this year's BiH Premier League - stated SFK 2000 Sarajevo.

Jelčić thanked SFK 2000 Sarajevo for the opportunity in the past four years, and coach Samira Hurem.

- I learned a lot at SFK 2000 Sarajevo, I became a player, but above all, I learned how to be a person. I am leaving with three double crowns won, numerous goals, appearances in the Champions League, and I am truly happy that I had the opportunity to play for this club, for this great family.
