Bišćević-Tokić: Leadership of the House of Representatives also acting contrary to Constitutional Court rulings

(Patria) - The leadership of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament is also acting contrary to the rulings of the Constitutional Court of FBiH, SDA MP in the FBiH Parliament Jasmina Bišćević-Tokić announced on social media tonight.

"What we argued before the Constitutional Court of FBiH as representatives, and which the Constitutional Court refused to establish for very strange reasons, is now also claimed by the leadership of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament - working bodies are not holding their sessions in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, thus violating the Rules of Procedure and endangering the rights of representatives.

The official position of the leadership of the House of Representatives, stemming from the letter dated February 6, 2025, is that the failure to hold sessions of working bodies within the prescribed deadlines violates the Rules of Procedure and endangers the rights of representatives.

Of course, the letter confirms that such actions are already an established practice of violating the Rules of Procedure.

This is precisely what we were proving before the Constitutional Court of FBiH, which, despite this obvious fact, decided to remain blind.

If it wants to save its own credibility, which it has called into question with its rulings, the Constitutional Court must remove the blindfold from its eyes as soon as possible.

Otherwise, there is a real danger that it could remain 'blind to justice', Bišćević-Tokić stated on her Facebook profile.
