It has been publicly discussed for a long time that Hepok Mostar, owned by Amko komerc Group, is facing difficulties, so this Group has put Hepok up for sale, writes the Patria News Agency.
As we have learned, the Bingo retail chain was interested in this purchase, but after reviewing the company's operations, they withdrew. However, Nedžad Koldžo, the mayor of Novo Sarajevo Municipality, did not let it go unanswered, according to an anonymous letter received by our editorial office.
Bingo planned to build a facility in Grbavica, but they cannot obtain a building permit, and according to our source, Koldžo is exerting pressure in this way for Bingo to buy Hepok. However, in a conversation with Patria, Koldžo said that he directed the people from Bingo who came to him on how to obtain a building permit for construction.
- What connection do I have with Amko and Hepok? Ultimately, I do not issue any permits. It is best to contact our service and ask specifically what you are interested in. First, you must obtain urban planning consent, then a construction permit, and finally a usage permit. There is an order to everything, and my goal is for construction to take place in the Novo Sarajevo area – Koldžo said.
Incidentally, by purchasing Hepok Mostar in 2008, Amko komerc completed its portfolio, and today Amko komerc Group operates through three sectors: Amko komerc d.o.o. – wholesale and retail, TD Marketi d.d. – retail, Dobrinja d.d. – retail, and Hepok d.d. production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as marmalades and jams.
