(Patria) - Member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council Biljana Simeunović submitted her resignation today from the position of Vice-President of the HJPC BiH. She informed the HJPC members about this at today's session.
As she stated in the explanation, she is resigning because she was not allowed to perform the duties of the Vice-President of the HJPC as provided by the law on the HJPC.
"And this was prevented in every possible way by the Director of the Secretariat of the HJPC BiH, Admir Suljagić, supported by the President Halil Lagumdžija.
I emphasize that I have enough experience in the judiciary and personal integrity not to agree to be an obedient servant or project staff of the Secretariat or the Director, and that I have exhausted all possibilities to prevent such a projection," she stated in the resignation letter.
