Bilino polje: Baždarević's Dragons brave and patient against the Greeks, great fan support

The BiH national football team is playing one of its more important matches tonight in Zenica against Greece in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup. Coach Mehmed Baždarević said that home advantage can be our strength.

- It is also important how the team will react in an atmosphere that will surely be at a high level and what they will give to the public so that this advantage becomes real. I hope we will be at our best for all 90 minutes and achieve the result we want, because we have the strength for it. Greece is a quality team and will play tough, but I expect us to respond in the right way - said the coach.

Captain Edin Džeko emphasized that patience will be key.

- We must also think about how to keep our net safe. We all know that the Greeks play defensively and on counter-attacks. We must not create problems for ourselves, we know their qualities and they cannot surprise us. The most important thing is that we play as we know how, and we will achieve a positive result.

The Football Association of BiH reminds fans of the security measures at the stadium „Bilino polje“ in Zenica.

- A ticket is valid for one person only,
- Children under 7 years of age are not allowed entry, and children older than 7 must have a ticket,
- It is strictly forbidden and legally punishable to bring pyrotechnic devices and alcoholic beverages, as well as hard objects,
- Banners that do not bear the symbols of BiH are not allowed,
- For security reasons, spectators should take their seats at least one hour before the start of the match in the sector for which they hold a ticket.

Each fan will receive a BiH flag at the stadium, which will be used in accordance with the instructions of the official stadium announcer.

Considering that it is the month of fasting for members of the Islamic faith, a free sandwich and a bottle of water will be provided so that fasting fans can refresh themselves before the start of the match. Locations for picking up sandwiches and water will be located at each stand of the stadium and will be clearly marked.

- Once again, we call for fair and sporting support from all fans and fan groups of our national team. Let's show dignity and respect. Let's support our Dragons with our voices and our hands - the Association states.
