Bilal Šuman new coach of the BiH handball team

At the session of the Executive Board of the Handball Federation of BiH, the new coach Bilal Šuman was elected, who was also a long-time handball player for the BiH team, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

For the last five years, the BiH team was led by Dragan Marković, and for the first time, our national team qualified for the World Championship held in early January 2015 in Qatar.

Šuman is currently also an assistant coach in Kolding, Denmark, where he assists Spaniard Juan Carlos Ortega. He played 32 matches for BiH, scoring 124 goals, and in his career, he played for Macedonian Pelister from Bitola, Spanish Barakaldo Bilbao, and Danish Aarhus and Kolding. 

The first test for the new coach is already in October when the qualifications for the European Championship in Croatia in 2018 begin. Our selection is in a group with Spain, Austria, and Finland.
