(Patria) - The White House announced yesterday that China has agreed to postpone US President Donald Trump's visit to Beijing, which was scheduled for two weeks from now.
Spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said that a new date is being worked on as soon as possible.
Trump said on Tuesday that due to the occupation with the war in Iran, he would travel to Asia in "five to six weeks".
- Summit meetings are indispensable for determining the strategic direction of bilateral relations. China and the US will be in communication regarding President Trump's visit to China - stated the spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in Washington.
