Bijedić announced the formation of a new political party

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The former president of the Cantonal Organization of SDP of Tuzla Canton, Enver Bijedić, disputed the right of the party's trustees to expel members. 

Bijedić stated at today's conference that only the Main Board can expel members from the party. 

He also said that he fully supports Žarko Vujović and Husein Tokić, who were expelled from the SDP, as well as from the party's parliamentary group in the TK Assembly. 

“If the Presidency of the party does not withdraw this decision, we will be forced to seek our political careers in a new political entity”, Bijedić stated, noting that it will not be any of the existing parties.

Since the General Elections last year, Bijedić has advocated for the SDP to participate in the TK government. The SDP organs did not agree with this, deciding to reject any possibility of a coalition with SDA. After Vujović and Tokić joined the parliamentary majority in the TK Assembly, and Vujović was elected President of the Assembly, the SDP expelled the aforementioned two from the party.
