BIHAMK terminates contract with towing service whose owner insulted the state of BiH

(Patria) - BIHAMK confirmed that the contract with the towing service whose owner, with an inappropriate comment, insulted the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been terminated.

"Due to great public interest, the Automobile- and Motorcycle Club of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIHAMK) informs that it has fully investigated the case related to an inappropriate comment by a contractual external associate, the owner of the transport business GEMIZA, Žepče, published on November 25, 2025, on social networks not owned or managed by BIHAMK. Following internally conducted procedures, a decision was made to terminate the contract with the said associate", BIHAMK confirmed.

Namely, Miroslav Simičić, the owner of the transport business Gemiza from Žepče, on November 25, 2025, on the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, wrote a comment on Facebook "piss on it", commenting on the flag and symbols of our homeland.

"BIHAMK clearly and unequivocally distances itself from any inappropriate or offensive statement relating to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its symbols. Such views do not represent the values, views, or actions of BIHAMK.

Immediately upon receiving complaints, BIHAMK, in accordance with valid procedures, temporarily suspended the associate, conducted an internal analysis of all relevant allegations in this case, and at the same time ensured the continuity of service provision to citizens, BIHAMK members, and other clients by engaging other associates in the territory of the municipality of Žepče.

BIHAMK acted in a timely, responsible manner and in accordance with prescribed procedures in the case in question, and remains committed to professional and transparent work, respecting the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its symbols, as well as preserving public trust. We thank the citizens and BIHAMK members for their interest, understanding, and trust", BIHAMK added.
