(Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team played their final Nations League match in League B tonight in Vienna.
Our team had fantastic support from the stands, and after 90 minutes of play the score was 0:0. Robert Prosinečki continued his unbeaten run on the bench of our team, and the Dragons advanced to League A of this competition.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will play in the elite division (League A) in the next edition of the Nations League (2020/2021), and today's result is also important for the Euro 2020 qualifiers, as the Dragons have secured at least a playoff spot if they fail to qualify for the tournament of the best European national teams through the qualifiers.
The Dragons finished the group with Austria and Northern Ireland unbeaten, with 10 points earned, and deservedly took first place.
The next edition of the Nations League is scheduled for autumn 2020, and it is already known that Bosnia and Herzegovina will play in two years against one of the following teams: France, Belgium, Switzerland, Portugal, Italy and Ukraine.
All participants of League A will be known on Monday evening.
