Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated by Italy, match against Greece for seventh place

The junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play for seventh place after today's defeat against Italy at the EuroBasket. The Azzurri won with a score of 77:59, reports the Patria agency.

After a few opening minutes and an even game, the Italians pulled ahead to +12 midway through the first quarter when Palumbo scored for 18:6, and they successfully maintained the lead until the end of that period.

Italy had a +15 lead at one point in the second quarter, but we played somewhat better at the end of that period, going into halftime with a respectable seven-point deficit. Campara scored for 34:27 after 20 minutes of play.

The players selected by Boris Džidić continued with an excellent performance in the third quarter; Kamenjaš scored for 44:43 with three minutes left, and it seemed we had fully returned to the game. However, the Italians then went on a 9:0 run and regained a double-digit lead.

In the final quarter, our team's play fell apart, which the Italians skillfully exploited, ultimately recording a convincing triumph.

The best performers in our team were Kamenjaš with 11 points and 14 rebounds, Adžić with 15 points, and Campara with 14 points. In the winning team, Palumbo had an excellent game with 26 points.
