BiH: Eight people recovered from coronavirus, while eight patients are on ventilators

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In BiH, eight people have recovered from the coronavirus. Along with two previous cases, three people from Zenica and three from Konjic have been cured of the virus, which has killed more than 30,000 people worldwide in the past three months. There have also been six deaths in BiH.

It should be emphasized that most people infected with coronavirus have a milder clinical picture, and their recovery takes place in home isolation with certain therapy with paracetamol or some other prescribed medication.

Elderly people and those who already have chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory problems, or heart problems have a more severe clinical picture. 

Eight people in BiH are on ventilators due to complications caused by coronavirus, three in RS, four in SKB Mostar, and one in the Cantonal Hospital Zenica who had surgery and is therefore on artificial respiration.    

At the Clinical Center in Sarajevo, three patients are accommodated in the isolation ward at Podhrastovi, and their health condition is stable, confirmed Sebija Izetbegović, director of KCUS.
