Bosnia and Herzegovina's tennis players on the verge of defeat against Germany in Mostar

(Patria) - The German Davis Cup team leads 2-0 after the first day of the World Group I tie against Bosnia and Herzegovina's tennis players.

In the first match today in Mostar, Daniel Altmaier was better than Nerman Fatić (7:6, 6:2), and then Damir Džumhur also suffered a defeat.

Yannick Hanfmann celebrated a rather easy victory over the best BH tennis player with a score of 6:2, 6:1. The match lasted an hour and 25 minutes.

It should also be noted that Džumhur had injury problems at the beginning of the second set. He also requested a medical time-out, after which he gritted his teeth and finished the match.

Tomorrow at 10:30 AM, the doubles match will be played. Mirza Bašić and Nerman Fatić will play for BiH, while Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz will play for the German team.

Germany is one victory away from securing their place in the elite Davis Cup World Group, and BiH will have to wait for another opportunity for this, writes SCsport.
