(Patria) - Following suspicious messages received by numerous users across BiH, BH Telecom issued a warning for users.
As they stated, recently a number of suspicious SMS/RCS messages have appeared that falsely use the name "Telecom" and invite users to redeem loyalty program points via an unauthorised link.
- This is a phishing attempt aimed at stealing your personal data. Do not open links from suspicious messages, do not share personal data through unverified sources, because BH Telecom will never ask you for data in this way.
Follow official information about services and the loyalty programme exclusively through our official channels: website, app and social networks.
For additional information and support, contact our call centre via the toll-free number 1444. Your security and protection of personal data are our priority - they said from the company.
Patria received one such message for review, which is in Ekavian dialect, and the link in the message reads bhtelecon (instead of the letter m).
