Bosnian selection achieves good results at Special Olympics: Begović congratulated 'Let's go BiH!'

Bosnian swimmer Irmela Peranović won a silver medal at the Special Olympics in Los Angeles in the 50-meter freestyle event, reports the Patria news agency.

Irmela received many congratulations for the medal she won. Congratulations were also sent by the football goalkeeper of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, Asmir Begović,

- Bravo for our swimmer. Let's go BiH! Well done Irmela! – wrote Begović on his Facebook profile.

After Adnan Pribišić, who won a gold medal in the 25-meter breaststroke event, this is our second medal won at the Summer Olympic Games.

Bosnian swimmer Mira Vasić will represent our country on Thursday in the 25-meter freestyle and the day after tomorrow in the 50-meter freestyle, while Irmela Peranović will have a divisioning in the 25-meter freestyle on Friday, as well as Zorana Mitrović, who will compete in the 50-meter breaststroke event.

The women's football team of the Special Olympics of Bosnia and Herzegovina today defeated Serbia 8:0 in the second round of the competition.
