The Bosnia and Herzegovina handball national team will play against Finland tonight in Goražde in the 4th round of Group 3 for the European Championship next year in Croatia.
Bilal Šuman's selected players celebrated their first qualifying victory in Finland four days ago, and now they will have the opportunity to defeat the same opponent on home turf.
- The crowd will certainly carry us, and it won't be easy for the Finns because they are not used to a passionate audience. However, we must be cautious because Finland has shown it can surprise and punish opponents' mistakes. They demonstrated this by beating Austria, and they caused us a lot of problems in the last match - said BiH coach Bilal Šuman.
Spain is first in the group with eight points, while BiH, Austria, and Finland each have two points.
The BiH national team will play its last two qualifying matches against Spain on June 14 in Goražde and against Austria on June 17 in Vienna. A fierce battle awaits in the upcoming matches for second place, which leads directly to the European Championship. That is why it is important for the handball Dragons to beat Finland tonight.
The match between BiH and Finland will be played tonight at 8 PM with a live broadcast on FACE TV.
