On Saturday, the International High School in Ilidža hosted the State Physics Competition for secondary school students, where students competed in solving computational problems in an effort to secure a place on the national team that will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina this year at the International Physics Olympiad, held this year in Zurich, Switzerland, Patria reports.
This year's representatives of our country will be Bahrudin Trbalić (International High School Tuzla), Nermedin Džeković (International High School Sarajevo), Dženan Devedžić (Grammar School "Dr. Mustafa Kamarić" Gračanica), Haris Popovac (International High School Sarajevo) and Damjan Ilišković (Grammar School Prnjavor).
Bahrudin Trbalić won a silver medal at last year's International Olympiad, while Nermedin Džeković won a bronze medal, so they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of physics at the international competition again this year.
It should be noted that Bahrudin Trbalić will continue his education at the prestigious American university Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
