Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball players defeated by Latvia, but still reached the quarterfinals

The junior basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the U18 Eurobasket, despite a defeat against Latvia on Sunday evening, with a score of 74:65.

In just six minutes of play, the Latvians hit as many as five three-pointers and led 21:6. The first quarter ended with a score of 29:13.

In the second quarter, Bosnia and Herzegovina played much better. From a poor performance, BiH took the lead at 42:40 in the 25th minute.

In the final quarter, there was another slump in the Bosnia and Herzegovina team, but that was not an obstacle for BiH to secure the quarterfinals, which will be played in Samsun, Turkey, against the French national team.
