Berilo transferred to KCUS, has serious health problems

(Patria) - The Mayor of Trnovo Municipality, Ibro Berilo, was urgently transferred to KCUS today due to, as confirmed to us, serious health problems.

Namely, as his lawyer Senad Pizović confirmed to Fokus, Berilo has serious health problems, and he emphasized that he had pointed out his health condition during the hearing for the determination of custody.

-He has health problems, which, you will understand, I cannot talk about. I spoke about it at the hearing for the determination of custody that he needs adequate medical care. Unfortunately, it has come to this, Pizović told us.

“At the hearing, I gave the Court medical documentation showing his serious health problems and requested that he be placed in a hospital to serve his custody measure there, but the Court did not accept it. And here is where it has led. I don't know anything, believe me, how long he will be at KCUS, he is still considered a detainee. He does not have a phone there, they only allowed him to call, where I was informed that he was going and that they would transfer him to KCUS,” Pizović explained.

Let us remind you, Berilo was arrested on August 5, after being suspected of abuse of position.

He was ordered into custody and has since been staying at the Penal Correctional Facility (KPZ) Zenica.
