(Patria) - The session of the Legislative-Legal Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, scheduled for today, was not held due to a lack of a quorum.
As a reminder, this is one of several attempts to hold a session of the ZKP at which the Proposal of the Rules of Procedure created by the parliamentary majority - the parties of the Troika and the HDZ BiH - should be considered.
The goal of each of the unheld sessions is to "push through" the Rules of Procedure that would be unfavorable to any opposition in the world, including that in the Federation of BiH.
In addition to the restrictions that would be introduced by the new Rules of Procedure, the goal is also to fill working bodies through co-optation, which would open the way for the Commission for Elections and Appointments to propose Marin Vukoja as the HDZ candidate for judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
The opposition opposes this, because they believe that Vukoja is politically suitable, but also that the Commission should propose a list of candidates and then the Parliament would vote on it.
Belmin Zukan (SDP), president of the ZKP, says that next week he will give the opposition another chance, without specifying what he intends to do after that.
All summed up, this is proof that Dragan Čović, thanks to the SDP, NiP and Our Party, has once again pushed the Federation of BiH, its legislative and executive authorities, into a blockade.
