Bećirović in Doboj: We must preserve and develop BiH on every inch of its territory

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH, Dr. Denis Bećirović, spoke in Doboj with the chief imam of the Islamic Community in Doboj, Ibrahim ef. Halilović, and citizens. On that occasion, he extended sincere congratulations on the occasion of Kurban-Bajram, emphasizing the importance of this holiday in nurturing spiritual values, solidarity, and togetherness.

During the conversation, Bećirović, among other things, emphasized that we must continue to preserve and develop Bosnia and Herzegovina on every inch of our country. We must do this openly, principledly, and concretely. In order to build a successful Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is necessary for integrative aspirations to become dominant in our homeland. Integrity cannot be imposed; it can only be established through the political will of all citizens and peoples.

There is no ruling nation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We must all be equal. Any policy that seeks to disenfranchise any nation, in any part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is wrong and distances us from a democratic society and state.

The chief imam of the Islamic Community in Doboj, Ibrahim ef. Halilović, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Bećirović for the visit and pointed out the importance of providing support to returnees and strengthening trust and coexistence in the local community.

Before arriving in Doboj, Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović performed the Bajram prayer in Prijedor, and then visited Kozarac and Banja Luka.
