Bećirović talked with citizens of Rogatica

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović visited Rogatica, where he talked with locals about everyday challenges in the process of return, reconstruction of family homes, employment and the construction of local infrastructure.

Bećirović said that every person who has decided to return to their hearth is a kind of hero and deserves respect. Thirty years after the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, our society has an obligation to make the return process sustainable, as it is key to the reintegration of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

However, to ensure long-term survival and development, additional support is necessary in several key areas: economy, infrastructure, and education.

One of the key challenges that locals pointed out is the need for greater support from state and entity authorities.

It is important to focus attention on employment. Many locals face
problems in finding jobs, which also results in reduced economic opportunities for the entire community, said Bećirović.

Locals also pointed out the need for infrastructural development, including the improvement of the road network and access to modern utility services.

Previously, Bećirović visited the villages of Međeđa and Ustiprača, and attended
a commemoration on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the crime known as the 'Living Pyre' in the village of Bikavac in Višegrad.
