Bećirović laid a wreath at the Turbe of General Izet Nanić and the martyrs of the 505th Viteška Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović laid a wreath at the Turbe of General Izet Nanić and the martyrs of the 505th Viteška Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bužim.

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the 505th Viteška Mountain Brigade, Bećirović paid tribute to one of the heroes of the defense of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose courage, determination and self-sacrifice left an indelible mark on the history of our homeland.

General Izet Nanić was one of the most prominent military commanders in the defensive-liberation war of 1992–1995.

Under the leadership of General Izet Nanić, the 505th Viteška Mountain Brigade became a synonym for defense, military discipline and moral strength in the most difficult war circumstances.

As part of the manifestation "Freedom Days of the Viteški City of Bužim 2025", Bećirović will address the final ceremony in Bužim this evening on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the 505th Viteška Mountain Brigade.
