Bećirović-Dudaković: Defending BiH is a Sacred Duty

(Patria) - On the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the unblocking of Bihać and Krajina, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke in Bihać with the commander of the famous Fifth Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, General Atif Dudaković.

Denis Bećirović paid tribute to General Atif Dudaković for his enormous contribution to the fight for the defense of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the aggression, as well as the post-war construction of the defense system of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bećirović emphasized that the soldiers of the Fifth Corps, led by General Dudaković, honorably defended the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the complete encirclement of Bihać and Krajina. He pointed out that this is a fact that must be stated clearly and loudly, because if it were not for the soldiers of the Fifth Corps of the Army of RBiH, Bihać would have met the fate of Srebrenica.

The interlocutors emphasized that it is of particular importance now, in peacetime, to continue advocating for the preservation of the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They agreed that the path of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the EU and NATO is an unstoppable process.
