
(Patria) - The coach of the men's senior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adis Bećiragić, has determined the wider list of basketball players for the Olympic pre-qualifiers.
Invitations have been sent to the following players: Miralem Halilović, Amar Gegić, Sani Čampara, Edin Atić, Draško Knežević, Džanan Musa, Amsal Delalić, Aleksandar Lazić, Adin Vrabac, Ajdin Penava, Amar Alibegović, Luka Garza, Haris Delalić, Kenan Kamenjaš, Jusuf Nurkić, Ibrahim Durmo, Vojin Ilić, Emir Ahmedović, Đorđe Topolović, Adnan Arslanagić, Markus Lončar, Adi Zahiragić, Luka Jovanović and Rijad Avdić.
Preparations begin on July 23rd in Vlašić, and the coaching staff of the Dragons will shorten the list by that date.
Let us remind you, the BiH national team is participating in one of the two European pre-qualifying tournaments for the Olympic Games.
The Dragons are in group B with the selections of Poland, Hungary and Portugal. The matches of this group will be played in the Polish city of Gliwice.
The top two teams from the group will qualify for the semi-finals (the final stage of the tournament will also be played in Poland), where they will play against the top two teams from group A (Czech Republic, Israel, Estonia, North Macedonia). The winner of the tournament will qualify for the Olympic Games.
The pre-qualifiers are scheduled from August 12th to 20th this year.
