Bečarević: We've been talking about gas shortages for a year, let Džindić and Hadžialjević explain everything to the Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - For a year now, warnings and efforts by the former management of BH-Gas, Jasmin Salkić, and his advisor, Almir Bečarević, have been ongoing regarding the gas crisis and all the damages that will arise from the switch to the TurkStream pipeline. There were no adequate reactions, and now, as sub-zero temperatures are being announced, heating plants are forced to shut down their boiler rooms.

"As was written a year ago, there will not be enough gas for the Canton of Sarajevo after switching to TurkStream. Everything was written and explained to the 'geniuses', Minister Nermin Džindić and Energoinvest Director Bisera Hadžialjević. They didn't believe it," Bečarević told Patria.

He notes that now the authorities in KS, who were misled and deceived during sessions organized by this duo promising lower gas prices and sufficient quantities for everyone, should believe them.

"Neither lower gas prices nor the necessary gas quantities for KS, and I don't know what else needs to happen for everyone to sober up and realize that they have and will have problems with gas. I said long ago that there is no greater fraud in the energy sector and no bigger business failure in the recent history of BiH. Perhaps the KS Prosecutor's Office is not waiting for someone to, God forbid, die on the system to react. Then it will be too late," Bečarević added.

We remind you that Nermin Džindić, Minister of Energy and Mining of the FBiH, and Prime Minister Fadil Novalić (SDA) are most responsible for the current situation regarding gas, or rather the gas crisis. They left BiH without alternative gas supply channels and switched us to TurkStream, forcibly removed the former director of BH-Gas, Jasmin Salkić, who strongly opposed the unilateral termination of the contract with the Hungarians, which will now be decided by an arbitration court.
