Baždarević gives chance to players from BHT Premier League: 29 footballers called up for testing

Head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team Mehmed Baždarević, together with other members of the Technical Department of the NFSBiH and his associates, will hold a one-day gathering on April 5 at the Zenica Training Centre for 29 players who play for clubs competing in the BH Telecom Premier League, where they will undergo certain tests and play a friendly match.

All invited players are candidates for the A team. 

Director of the Technical Department Denijal Pirić presented the gathering plan.

- We have planned a one-day gathering after the matches of the 23rd round, and we have scheduled the call-up for Tuesday at 9:15 AM, and at ten o'clock we will start with testing. In the afternoon, at 3:30 PM, the candidates, divided into two teams, will play a friendly match and after that return to their daily activities.

In addition to these activities, on Wednesday, April 6, we will also hold a workshop in which the heads of coaching staff of the BH Telecom Premier League and the selectors of all men's national teams will participate.

Coach Baždarević and his coaching staff will prepare presentations on „Modern methodology of work in physical preparation of players“, and „Team preparation for the match“, and we expect all present to actively participate in the discussion as well as to hear different thoughts on these topics.

Among the invited players are also some former national team players Adnan Zahirović and Miroslav Stevanović who now play for FK Željezničar. From this club, five more players were invited: Vedran Kjosevski, Srđan Stanić, Nermin Zolotić, Aleksandar Kosorić and Kerim Memija.

From FK Sarajevo, four players were invited, of whom Haris Duljević has already played in the friendly match against Switzerland.
