Baždarević announces Dragons' squad: Smart play for a good result

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will face Greece on June 9 at the Bilino Polje stadium in the qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Coach Baždarević announced today the list of players called up for this match, Patria reports.

Goalkeepers: Begović, Šehić, Pirić.

Defenders: Bičakčić, Šunjić, Cocalić, Zukanović, Dumić, Pavlović, Memišević, Vranješ.

Midfielders: Pjanić, Cimirot, Prcić, Stevanović, Višća, Vršajević, Milićević, Krunić, Medunjanin, Bešić, Lulić, Jajalo.

Forwards: Bajić, Ibišević, Hodžić, Kodro, Džeko.

Baždarević said that there are still players whose participation in the match is uncertain.

- Today we will know what is going on with Milićević. It is up to us to find the optimal form for the match in these seven or eight days. I hope we will do the best preparations and that we will welcome Greece in good condition. We saw a new Greece against Belgium compared to the one we played against. With one smart game, we can achieve a good result - said Baždarević.

He pointed out that Sead Kolašinac, who is in the best form of his life, will be missed.

- We will look for a solution among these players we have, because we cannot allow improvisation in such a match. We must play a patient, smart game in which we must not rush. The chances are still realistic and open for both first and second place. The fate is in our hands.
