Baždarević announces squad for crucial matches against Belgium and Estonia

The coach of the BiH national football team, Mehmed Baždarević, has announced the list of players he will count on in the World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Estonia, writes the Patria agency.

The list includes several players returning to our national team, including Sejad Salihović, who is returning to the national team after a two-year break.

- We decided and thought we needed experience, so we invited a player who has experienced many good things with us - said Baždarević.

He also commented on why the player from Italian club Udinese, Riad Bajić, is not on the list.

- Between two players, we preferred Kodro over Bajić due to the difference from other strikers. We all know he had a transfer to a new club, we decided on this list of players from whom we expect to give their maximum - said the coach.

For the first time in many years, the Dragons will change their home ground and will play at Grbavica stadium instead of Bilino polje in Zenica.

- Playing at Grbavica stadium means a lot to us, we expect support from everyone to play a good match, we know it will be difficult, together with the audience that will come, we will do everything to achieve a favorable result - Baždarević conveyed.

The Dragons' gathering is scheduled for Monday, October 2nd, in Ilidža.

The match against Belgium is scheduled for October 7th at Grbavica stadium, and the duel against Estonia will be played three days later in Tallinn.
