The draw for the Euro 2016 play-offs was held today in Nyon, France, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will face Ireland, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Ukraine will play Slovenia, Sweden will face Denmark, and Hungary will take on Norway.
The first legs of the play-offs will be played from 12 to 14 November, with the return matches from 15 to 17 November.
The draw in Nyon was attended by a delegation from the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by coach Mehmed Baždarević, as well as vice-president Darko Ljubojević, general secretary Jasmin Baković, and secretary of the coaching staff Elmir Pilav.
After the official part, Baždarević briefly spoke with Irish coach Martin O'Neill, followed by a handshake between the two football experts.
- The general opinion is that we got the toughest opponent, but we knew that every opponent is tough, and perhaps it would have been easier for us to play the return leg at home. We must be in top form, healthy and ready for the big clash. It hasn't been easy for us so far, but I know we have the capacity and can beat any opponent - said Meša.
