Bakir Izetbegović: Changes are inevitable, strengthening BiH's economy is a priority

(Patria) - A large public iftar was held in Tešanj tonight, organized by the Municipal Organization of SDA Tešanj, attended by the President of the Party of Democratic Action, Bakir Izetbegović.

At the beginning of his address, Izetbegović pointed out the importance of peace, recalling the conflicts that marked the last few Ramadans. Speaking about the current political and social conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he also touched upon the challenges our country is facing.

- This government is not doing well. They are aware of it, and so is the people. That is why changes will follow. We have many problems, in defense, diplomacy, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, but the main problem, the one that largely solves the others or creates them, is the economy. We need a strong economy. We must further strengthen the link between the government and the economy – said Izetbegović.

In this context, he emphasized the importance of a more active role of the government in creating a more favorable business environment, so that entrepreneurs can create new jobs, which, as he pointed out, would significantly contribute to strengthening the Bosnian and Herzegovinian economy.

In addition to Izetbegović, the President of KO SDA ZDK Nermin Mandra and the Mayor of Tešanj Municipality Suad Huskić also addressed the attendees.

The event gathered a large number of citizens, members and sympathizers of the Party of Democratic Action, as well as representatives of public and social life and guests from other areas.
