Bakir Hadžiomerović new director of RTV FBiH

(Patria) - The Steering Board of RTV Federation of BiH, at its 8th regular session, elected Bakir Hadžiomerović as the new general director of this public service for a five-year term.

The session was held in Mostar, and the members of the Steering Board of RTV FBiH were unanimous in their assessment that Hadžiomerović was the best candidate in the public tender held. The Steering Board evaluated managerial experience, knowledge of media operations, the presented work plan, and impressions from the interviews.

Hadžiomerović is a well-known media personality, having worked for RTV FBiH for many years, and in the meantime, he also served as a manager.

The Steering Board of RTV FBiH is convinced that they will have a successful cooperation with the new general director in managing this institution and fulfilling its mission to be a professional and modern public service at the service of all citizens of BiH, it was announced.

We remind you that Nermin Nikšić, Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stated back in April, during his guest appearance on Face TV, that Bakir Hadžiomerović should take on the role of director of Federal Television.

Nikšić explained that he had asked Hadžiomerović to apply for the position of director of that public service, given that the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH had recently appointed the Steering Board of RTVFBiH.
