(Patria) - Germany is extremely concerned about the rise in violence on the Israeli-Lebanese border and the increasing risk of a full regional conflict.
This was stated yesterday by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock during a visit to the Middle East region.
Speaking at a security conference, as a "friend" of Israel, she warned that Tel Aviv "could lose itself" in the war against Hamas.
She added that growing anger over the plight of civilians in Gaza undermines Israel's security.
There are increasing fears that the war, which has already killed tens of thousands of people in Gaza, could spread to neighboring countries.
