Azerbaijan informed about situation in BiH and ready to help

(Patria) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina Staša Košarac today held a telephone conversation with Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov about the current epidemiological situation caused by the spread of the coronavirus. Ministers Košarac and Jabbarov exchanged information on measures taken by the two countries to combat the negative effects of the epidemic, with a focus on the functioning of the health sector.

During the conversation, it was noted that Azerbaijan is informed about the situation in BiH and is ready to help and respond in an adequate manner if the epidemiological situation further deteriorates. The two ministers agreed that BiH will send any potential requests for assistance through the Azerbaijani Embassy in Sarajevo.

During the conversation with Minister Jabbarov, Minister Košarac conveyed greetings to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of BiH Presidency member Milorad Dodik.
