A Turkish Airlines plane en route to Brazil was forced to change course and make an emergency landing in Casablanca following a bomb threat, the airline's spokesperson said, Reuters reports, according to Patria.
Flight TK15 departed from Istanbul for Sao Paulo with about 250 passengers on board when a danger was declared and the flight was rerouted to the North African city.
According to world media reports, a piece of paper with the word "bomb" written on it was found in a WC cabin, triggering the alarm.
