(Patria) - A plane flying from Guantanamo Bay with more than 130 passengers landed in the St. Johns River after missing the runway in Jacksonville, Florida (USA). According to initial information, 21 people were transferred to the hospital, but it seems that no one was seriously injured.
The Boeing 737 was chartered by the Ministry of Defense. They were returning from Cuba to a military base in Florida and skidded off the runway upon landing. According to local media, there were 136 passengers and seven crew members on board.
Fortunately, after the accident, the plane's front got stuck in the shallow part of the river and it did not sink.
