SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The best BH athlete Amel Tuka will fight for a medal in the 800 meters tonight at the European Indoor Athletics Championships, hosted by the Scottish capital Glasgow.
Tuka ran 1:50.41 on Saturday evening, finishing third in the first semifinal group. From that group, Alvaro de Arriba (1:50.12) and Andreas Bube (1:50.18) advanced to the final.
In the second group, the fastest were Mariano Garcia (1:48.84), Jamie Webb (1:48.85) and Andreas Kramer (1:49.06).
The final race of the 800 meters is scheduled for 19:57.
