Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player Asmir Begović handed over a donation to Football Club Velež, writes the Patria agency.
He sent football boots to the club's address, which will surely be useful to the players of the Mostar club.
The club's management and players were delighted with Begović's gesture and publicly thanked him via social media.
- As on many occasions before, Asmir has confirmed what a man and athlete he is. FK Velež wishes our Asmir, the Minister of Defense as we like to call him, much health and happiness in the future, and that we celebrate new victories of our one and only Bosnia and Herzegovina together - stated FK Velež.
